Sebastian Bello Lepe

I am a PhD student in the Department of Language and Cognition, UCL. My work focuses on language processing in neurotypical speakers and individuals with aphasia from a usage-based approach.

I am exploring how lexical frequency and collocation strength of two-word combinations influence cognitive effort in language production. Also, I use EEG techniques to analyse the verb processing in older adults and individuals with aphasia. My statistical analysis is based on Linear Mixed Models approaches.

My PhD studies are funded by the National Agency of Research (ANID), Chile. I have received an MSc in Neuropsychology from the Universidad Mayor (Chile) and a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy from the Universidad de Valparaíso (Chile), where currently I am a lecturer.
